Soccer Game Preview: Crossville vs. Fultondale

The Crossville Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Fultondale Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Crossville is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Moody on Friday. The Lions and the Blue Devils finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Fultondale came up short against Gardendale on Friday and fell 4-2. The defeat continues a trend for Fultondale in their meetings with Gardendale: they've now lost six in a row.

Jonathan Castro and Eli Nava scored both of Fultondale's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Crossville's draw makes their record 8-9-1 this season. As for Fultondale, they now have a losing record of 10-11-4.

Crossville took their win against Fultondale in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
