Soccer Game Preview: Olympic vs. North Kitsap

Olympic hasn't had much luck against North Kitsap recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Olympic will be strutting in after a victory while North Kitsap will be coming in after a defeat.

Olympic was handed a six-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They never let North Mason get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five matches, North Kitsap finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against Bainbridge, falling 4-1. North Kitsap's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

North Kitsap's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Olympic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6-2 record this season.

Olympic might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from North Kitsap when the teams last played back in March. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
