Soccer Recap: Rockingham County Takes a Loss

Rockingham County came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to the Western Alamance Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rockingham County of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2021.

Rockingham County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Western Alamance, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockingham County will face off against Page at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Western Alamance, they will head out to face off against Southwestern Randolph at 6:30 p.m. on September 3.
