Nipmuc Regional won the last time they faced Whitinsville Christian and Maya Vercruysse did her part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crusaders on Thursday thanks in part to Vercruysse, who had 13 digs and five aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

While Nipmuc Regional won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-18, 25-23.

Nipmuc Regional is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Whitinsville Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.
