The timing is sure in Weiser's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Gooding has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Weiser is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Lewiston, who was ranked seventh at the time (Weiser was ranked 25th). Weiser was beaten by Lewiston 70-38 last Saturday. The game marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Gooding suffered their closest loss since January 6th two weeks ago. They fell just short of American Falls by a score of 41-38.

Having lost for the first time this season, Weiser fell to 6-1. As for Gooding, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
