Dayton lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Garfield-Palouse, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Bulldogs blew past the Vikings 8-2 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Dayton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Garfield-Palouse, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1.

Looking ahead, Dayton will host Walla Walla Valley Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.79 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. Garfield-Palouse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
