Basketball Recap: Lausanne Collegiate Lynx vs. Northpoint Christian Trojans
The Lausanne Collegiate Lynx won the last time they faced the Northpoint Christian Trojans, and things went their way on Saturday too. Lausanne Collegiate walked away with a 53-44 win over the Trojans.
Andrew Ford had a dynamite game for Lausanne Collegiate, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josh Taylor, who scored eight points.
Lausanne Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Northpoint Christian, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lausanne Collegiate will take on the Gryphons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. George's is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Northpoint Christian, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
