Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Piedmont came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Cuthbertson Cavaliers. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Cora Diedrick paced Piedmont's offense, picking up five kills. Diedrick got some help from Ella Talley and her eight assists. Emory Bramlett controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Ava Fry, who had ten digs and three aces.

Piedmont now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Cuthbertson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Piedmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Porter Ridge on the 25th. As for Cuthbertson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Sun Valley on the 25th.
