Folsom is 8-2 against Granite Bay since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. Folsom will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Folsom will bounce into Monday's match after beating Rocklin, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bulldogs blew past the Thunder 3-0 on Wednesday.

While Folsom won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Ryan Kannegeisser, who had 17 assists and four digs.

Meanwhile, Granite Bay lost 3-0 to St. Francis on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their meetings with the Troubadours: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-6.

Granite Bay's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Folsom, their win bumped their record up to 22-8.

Everything went Folsom's way against Granite Bay in their previous matchup back in September, as Folsom made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
