Soccer Recap: Yerba Buena Takes a Loss

Yerba Buena lost against James Lick back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the James Lick Comets.

Yerba Buena's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for James Lick, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Yerba Buena and James Lick should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Yerba Buena will challenge San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 503 places (479 vs. 982). Meanwhile, James Lick (ranked 262nd) will meet Gilroy (ranked 571st) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
