Soccer Game Preview: Sodus vs. North Rose-Wolcott

The Sodus Spartans will head out to square off against the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sodus is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Williamson on Friday. Neither the Spartans nor the Marauders could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, North Rose-Wolcott kept a clean sheet against Marion on Friday. They put the hurt on the Black Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. North Rose-Wolcott haven't had any issues with Marion recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

North Rose-Wolcott's win bumped their record up to 4-7. With that draw, Sodus' record moves to 7-3-1.

Everything went Sodus' way against North Rose-Wolcott in their previous meeting back in September, as Sodus made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
