You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Amherst on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels out of the water with a 66-26 final score. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 40 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Amherst to victory, but perhaps none more so than Libby Mitchell, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 18 points and four steals. Mitchell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Kylinn Daugherty was another key player, going 5-for-10 en route to 14 points and five steals.

Amherst smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Amherst pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
