Baseball Recap: Downtown Doral Takes a Loss

Downtown Doral fell victim to Coral Shores and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Coral Shores Hurricanes, falling 11-0. The Dolphins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Downtown Doral saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fernando Quinones, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Downtown Doral now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Coral Shores, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Downtown Doral will host Goleman at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Coral Shores, they will be playing at home against P.K. Yonge at 6:00 p.m. on March 20th. P.K. Yonge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.
