Basketball Recap: Westwood Takes Down Conway in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Westwood rose to the challenge on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 46-45 victory over the Conway Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redhawks.

Conway lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Javion Crawford, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Avery Brantley, who posted nine points.

Westwood's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Conway, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 22-5.

Coming up, Westwood will face off against Berkeley on Wednesday. Conway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
