Basketball Recap: Riverside-Brookfield Takes a Loss

If Riverside-Brookfield was riding high fresh off their 69-49 takedown of Streamwood last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christ the King Gladiators on Thursday.

Riverside-Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Christ the King, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Riverside-Brookfield won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Glenbard West at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Christ the King, they will face off against St. Martin de Porres at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
