Basketball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Takes a Loss

Tipton-Rosemark Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 62-15 to the Jackson Christian Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Eagles are ranked 102nd).

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Jackson Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy will challenge Fayette Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tipton-Rosemark Academy is facing Fayette Academy at the right time seeing as Fayette Academy is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Jackson Christian, they will head out to square off against McKenzie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
