Softball Recap: Fayette County Takes a Loss

Fayette County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Curry Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Fayette County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Curry, the victory (which was their 28th in a row) raised their record to 33-1.

Looking ahead, Fayette County will challenge Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Curry will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' contest: after the Tigers faces off against the Jaguars, they'll take on Curry again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
