The DeKalb Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Meadville Eagles 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

DeKalb now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Meadville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, DeKalb will look to defend their home field on Monday against South Holt at 5:00 p.m. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Meadville, they will square off against Glasgow at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th.
