Recap: Bethany Wolves vs. Piedmont Classical Bobcats
The Bethany Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Piedmont Classical at home and fell 70-19. Bethany has struggled against Piedmont Classical recently, as their game on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Piedmont Classical's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ja'el Lawson , who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Anderson , who scored 11 points.
Bethany's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.7 points per game. As for Piedmont Classical, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethany will take on College Prep & Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully College Prep & Leadership Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday. As for Piedmont Classical, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Leadership Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leadership Academy will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
