Caprock Academy came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the De Beque Dragons. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Caprock Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept De Beque between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-15.

Taylor Phillips paced Caprock Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Phillips got some help from Zoey Polson and her 15 assists. Phillips was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.
