Football Game Preview: Washington Bluejays vs. Rolla Bulldogs

The Washington Bluejays will take on the Rolla Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Washington is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 45-38 victory over Howell Central on Friday. The Bluejays haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Rolla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-16 heartbreaker at the hands of Parkview.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Rolla, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Washington was dealt a bruising 50-7 defeat at the hands of Rolla when the teams last played back in October of 2018. Thankfully for the Bluejays, Trey Quick (who rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
