Football Recap: Wando Takes a Loss

Wando had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-6 to make it four. They took a hard 31-14 fall against the Lucy Beckham Bengals. The Warriors were down 31-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Although Wando took the loss, they still got scores from Gabriel Holmes and Ryan Jahn.

As for Lucy Beckham, their win bumped their record up to 6-3. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Leading Lucy Beckham to victory were Jaden Gethers and Finn Gunter. Gethers rushed for 98 yards and one TD on only six carries, while Gunter rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

Wando didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 48-0 loss against James Island on the 7th. As for Lucy Beckham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 38-21 victory against North Myrtle Beach on the 7th.
