Overton won the last time they faced Kingsbury and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 16-7 margin over the Falcons. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won 11 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.
Sammy Kehrli made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
