Softball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Augusta fell victim to Mason County and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 15-0 to the Royals. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Royals: they've now lost seven in a row.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mason County, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Augusta will take on Dayton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mason County, they will challenge Bishop Brossart at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
