Softball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

If Ashland was riding high fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Burncoat on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Clockers lost 16-2 to the Medway Mustangs on Wednesday. The Clockers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Neko Ustaris made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Medway, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Ashland will welcome Fitchburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Medway, they will head out on the road to face off against Holliston at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
