Football Recap: Forest Hills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Forest Hills and Penn Cambria squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Forest Hills had to settle for second. They were dealt a 41-7 loss at the hands of the Panthers. The Rangers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 22-18.

Xander Richardson threw for 175 yards on 14 of 30 attempts. Austin Pramuk was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards. On the ground, Kaden Chumley rushed for 36 yards.

It was another big night for Brady Jones, who rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 69 yards and one TD for Penn Cambria. That's the most rushing yards Jones has posted since back in September of 2024.

Forest Hills' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5. Those road losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.0 points over those games. As for Penn Cambria, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Forest Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Penn Cambria, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Huntingdon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense better be ready for this one: the Bearcats have averaged an impressive 27 points per game this season.
