Santa Maria fell victim to San Luis Obispo and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Paso Robles' game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Righetti by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Bearcats have lost by just one goal.

Santa Maria now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for Paso Robles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Santa Maria took their win against Paso Robles in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santa Maria since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
