Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Shannon Dworaczyk and Lola Jordan Lead Magnolia West to Victory

Magnolia West's tournament run continued when they took on Port Neches-Groves on Thursday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Leading Magnolia West to victory were Lola Jordan and Shannon Dworaczyk. Jordan had 15 digs, while Dworaczyk hit 100% for five kills and three digs and two aces. That's the most kills Dworaczyk has posted over her last ten games. Lexi Dygert also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Magnolia West's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Port Neches-Groves, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 12-10 record.

Coming up, Magnolia West will face off against Clear Lake at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Port Neches-Groves, they will challenge Vidor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
