The Hunters Lane Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They fell 45-37 to Donelson Christian Academy.
Despite the loss, Hunters Lane still got an impressive performance from Michael Small, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Amarien Kelly, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Hunters Lane's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Donelson Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
Hunters Lane won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fairview at 10:30 a.m. on December 30, 2023. Donelson Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Friendship Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 4th. Friendship Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Donelson Christian Academy in Tennessee (Friendship Christian is ranked 96th, while Donelson Christian Academy is ranked 307th).
