Volleyball Recap: Bishop Ward Takes a Loss

Bishop Ward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverton Rams. The Cyclones were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in October of 2018.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-8.

Bishop Ward's loss dropped their record down to 3-17-8. As for Riverton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bishop Ward and Riverton will both be playing Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy the next time they take the court. The Cyclones will head out to face the Ravens at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rams will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
