Recap: Hanahan Hawks vs. Beaufort Eagles
The Hanahan Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 50-33 bruising from Beaufort. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hanahan in their matchups with Beaufort: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the loss, Hanahan still got an impressive performance from Jonah Auckenthaler, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Hanahan has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Beaufort, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.
Hanahan will square off against North Charleston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaufort, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Philip Simmons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Philip Simmons is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
