Softball Game Preview: Webster Thomas Titans vs. LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers

The Webster Thomas Titans will head out to challenge the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Webster Thomas comes in on three and LaSalle-Peru on nine.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Webster Thomas sidestepped Yorktown for a 10-8 win.

Meanwhile, LaSalle-Peru never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over Solvay. Considering the Cavaliers have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

LaSalle-Peru pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Webster Thomas, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
