You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for River on Thursday. They blew past the Barnesville Shamrocks 52-31. The Pilots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Barnesville saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lydia Welch dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Aiva Leasure, who posted two points and five rebounds.

River is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game.
