Basketball Recap: Beavercreek Comes Up Short

Beavercreek suffered their biggest defeat since January 7th on Wednesday. They lost 72-52 to the Centerville Elks. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Elks are ranked 68th).

Beavercreek's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Centerville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Beavercreek will be playing in front of their home fans against Springfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Beavercreek is facing Springfield at the right time seeing as Springfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Centerville, they will venture away from home to face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
