Baseball Recap: Fuchs Mizrachi Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southeast, Fuchs Mizrachi was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Lawrence Upper Lions 19-18. The high-scoring effort was just what the Mayhem needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Louis Frank was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those runs were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eili Greenblatt, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Fuchs Mizrachi's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Lawrence Upper, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fuchs Mizrachi is set to challenge their familiar foe Hillel Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Meanwhile, Lawrence Upper will square off against rival Medina Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
