Baseball Recap: Saddle Brook's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Saddle Brook came into Monday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Elmwood Park Crusaders by a score of 9-4 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-6 on April 8th.

Saddle Brook now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Elmwood Park, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saddle Brook will challenge Dumont at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Elmwood Park, they will face off against Boonton at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bombers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.71 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
