Soccer Recap: Madill Comes Up Short

If Madill was feeling good fresh off their 6-2 takedown of Durant last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Madill Wildcats came up short against the Santa Fe South Saints on Friday, falling 8-0. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Madill fell to 2-1. As for Santa Fe South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Madill will face off against Classen SAS at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Fe South, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Northwest Classen on the 7th.
