Sadly, Jibril Nashid posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Georgetown Day over Washington Leadership Academy on Saturday. Nashid posted 24 points and eight boards, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process.

Nashid and Georgetown Day will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Andrew's Episcopal at 5:45 p.m. The Mighty Hoppers had to take a loss when they last met the Lions, but Nashid had little to do with the loss: he put up 11 points and seven rebounds.
