After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Berlin, Rocky Hill was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the New Britain Golden Hurricanes with a sharp 15-1 victory. That 14 run margin sets a new team best for the Terriers this season.
Rocky Hill got a massive performance out of Ally Killoran, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three runs. That's the most runs Killoran has posted since back in April. Lucy Criscuolo was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Rocky Hill hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive contests.
Rocky Hill's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-6. As for New Britain, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
