Soccer Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee fell victim to Hazel Green and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lee of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Lee and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Hazel Green, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-2 record this season.

Lee will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Madison County at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Hazel Green, they will take on Charles Henderson in a tournament on Thursday.
