Basketball Recap: Hull-Daisetta Extends Winning Streak to Five

Hull-Daisetta had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 42-33 win over the Danbury Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Panthers back in November, they had to take a 51-45 loss.

Hull-Daisetta is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Danbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hull-Daisetta will host Leggett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leggett knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Hull-Daisetta likes a good challenge. As for Danbury, they will take on Victoria Gators HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
