Softball Recap: Thunder Basin Comes Up Short

Thunder Basin blew Worland out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Worland got their revenge. The Bolts fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 15-13. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Thunder Basin got a massive performance out of Madlyn Means, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. Kyana Rusch was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Thunder Basin's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Worland, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Thunder Basin beat the Warriors by a score of 14-2 later that day.
