Basketball Recap: Stall Comes Up Short

Stall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-19 loss at the hands of the Fort Dorchester Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-32 two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Dorchester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kai Mack, who posted eight points and 13 boards. That's the most rebounds Mack has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ella Semenetz, who went 5-for-9 en route to 14 points.

Stall's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Fort Dorchester, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-15.

Stall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-26 loss against James Island on the 13th. As for Fort Dorchester, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Summerville on the 12th.
