Basketball Recap: Khajuan Roseborough's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Atlantic City over Elizabeth

After flying high against Atlantic County Institute of Tech last Wednesday, Atlantic City came back down to earth. The Atlantic City Vikings took a hard 76-58 fall against the Elizabeth Minutemen on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Minutemen are ranked ninth).

Atlantic City's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khajuan Roseborough, who posted 15 points and five assists. RoseboRough's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Finks, who had 17 points and five boards.

Atlantic City's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Elizabeth, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Atlantic City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Elizabeth has already played their next match (against Union), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
