Football Recap: Ripley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Ripley Tigers came up short against the East Webster Wolverines on Friday, falling 37-13. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kyran McDonald threw for 52 yards and one TD. Jordan Jackson was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Aking Richard rushed for 45 yards.

East Webster's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kross Avent, who threw for 265 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Avent a new career-high in rushing yards (21). Another rusher making a difference was Dakarai Coffey, who gained 113 total yards and a touchdown.

Ripley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for East Webster, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
