Booker moved up to 128 from 159 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A District 13. The Tornadoes were able to move up by defeating Island Coast 33-27.

Hardee extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Dunbar, 37-20. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Wildcats.

Hardee's Kris Johnson and Tristen Lanier led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 1,012 yards this season, while Lanier has 17 catches for 365 yards. Southeast's Courtney Allen leads the league in rushing yards with 1,293.

The top two teams in 5A District 13 will face off this week when first place Hardee takes on second place Booker. Last week, Buddy Martin's team beat the Tigers, while Booker defeated the Gators.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Tornadoes take on the Wildcats. Booker has allowed 189 points this season, while Hardee has given up 96. The Tornadoes allowed 27 points last week as they bested Island Coast.

The Wildcats took down Dunbar 37-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jordan Jones in the win.
