Recap: Union Spartans vs. Neuse Charter Cougars
This season hasn't been kind to the Union Spartans, who are still winless after their 15th matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 79-29 loss at the hands of Neuse Charter. Union has struggled against the Cougars recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Jayvin Bradley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Neuse Charter, scoring 42 points along with six assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bradley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Atkinson, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Union's defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Neuse Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Leopards at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Neuse Charter, they will face off against the Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Duplin will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
