Basketball Recap: Julian Stromski and Mac Hibben Secure Win for Torrington

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Torrington walked away with it. They came out on top against the Wheatland Bulldogs by a score of 47-39 on Saturday. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 39-37 victory last Saturday.

Torrington was led to victory by Mac Hibben and Julian Stromski. Hibben went 7-for-10 on his way to 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Stromski shot 50% from the field to rack up 13 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Hibben now owns an excellent 45.8% shooting accuracy. Drew Kramer was another key player, putting up five points.

Torrington is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Wheatland and nudges their season record down to 16-15.
