Football Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short + How To Watch

MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 37-7 loss at the hands of the Dekaney Wildcats. The matchup was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Generals couldn't quite close it out.

Ryan Smith threw for 146 yards and one touchdown. Quan Reynolds was his top target, picking up 77 receiving yards.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Dekaney, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. MacArthur is set to square off against their familiar foe Benjamin Davis at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. Meanwhile, Dekaney will challenge rival Nimitz at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
