Volleyball Recap: Helix Takes a Loss

Helix saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Mira Mesa Marauders. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sebastian Valenzuela paced Helix's offense, picking up nine kills. Valenzuela got some help from Nathan Steele and his 17 assists.

Helix's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Mira Mesa, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

Helix has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Clairemont on the 10th. As for Mira Mesa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Olympian on the 8th.
